Girls just want to have fun

This was one of Paulina's solos.

Boys dance

Wesley has been the only boy in our dance studio for a few years now. This year he talked his best friend and brother and another boy into dancing with him. Most of the girls had no clue and were totally surprised! They did pretty good considering that three of the boys have never danced and they only started a month ago and I don't know that they had more than a couple of practices with all of them there.

Dance recital

Been trying all day to get a video to upload! This one is Paulina's hip hop group. Hope it works! If it does I will try a few more.

Sneak preview of Paulinas dance

Here is a sneak preview of one of Paulina's dances she will do Saturday night at recital (she has 8 dances) In this one, the stage will be decorated with moons and stars, the wedge you see will be decorated to look like a mirror, the dance teacher hiding behind it will be better hidden with curtains (she was trying to watch since this was a class) The little bitty girl you see will be wearing a baby blue dance costume and angel wings and a halo. She will also be more of a ham with an audience. So enjoy this preview. (scroll down and find the music player on the right and pause the music so you can hear her dance music)

Marceli Birthday party pictures

Some pictures from Marceli's party

Special day

16 years ago today, I gave birth to my first son. One year later at his birthday party, my sister in law finally asked if she could remove the birthday boys zipped up jacket. I told her to go ahead and removing his jacket revealed he was wearing a shirt that said "Big Brother". This was our announcement that son number two was coming. On my first son's 7th birthday, I was in Russia visiting orphans, and that day I chose one to be our daughter. Little did I know but that very same day, while I was in Russia choosing my princess, my youngest son was being born in Poland. So today I celebrate my four blessings, but especially my youngest and my oldest! Happy Birthday boys!
The pictures are Shiloh on his ninth birthday and The first picture we ever saw of Marceli. The other pictures are of Marceli's party on Saturday. (Shiloh's is next week)

Here is what Jeff Foxworthy has to say about folks from Texas ...

If someone in a Lowe's store offers you assistance and they don't work
there, you may live in Texas ;

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you may live in
Texas ;

If you've had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed
a wrong number, you may live in Texas;

live in Texas ;

unlocked, you may live in Texas;

If you carry jumper cables in your car and your wife knows how to use
them, you may live in Texas ;

If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph --you're going 80 and
everybody's passing you, you may live in Texas ;

If you actually understand these jokes, and share them with all your
Texas friends, you definitely live in Texas ..

For Naomi

This is for Naomi, an adorable little girl who just had an amputation. Of course anyone else can watch too, especially if you ever wondered how prosthetics work.
